ZoomInfo Ships Agent Teams in GTM Studio After DoubleO.ai Acquisition
One day after announcing its purchase of orchestration startup DoubleO.ai, ZoomInfo made Agent Teams available in GTM Studio with no new SKU — pitching multi-agent GTM plays that run from signal to outreach.
ZoomInfo introduced Agent Teams in GTM Studio on Oct. 1, 2026, one day after announcing its acquisition of orchestration startup DoubleO.ai. The product ships inside existing GTM Studio seats with no new SKU or contract, a packaging choice that tells you more about the state of the GTM agent market than any feature list.
The architecture comes from DoubleO.ai co-founders Derek Osgood and Karthik Suresh, who began building it in 2024 after their earlier GTM operations company, Ignition, was absorbed by Klue. Financial terms of the ZoomInfo deal weren’t disclosed. In ZoomInfo’s framing, specialized agents, “each with its own role, instructions, and tools, share context from every prior step and decide the next best action from the current state of the record.” Chief Product Officer Dominik Facher contrasts this with single-agent chains that “exchange outputs, not understanding.” Osgood claims “10x gains” over single-agent setups, though that number is founder framing rather than audited benchmark.
The reference plays are telling: tracking a champion into a new job and running closed-won lookalikes. Both are workflows a sales rep used to assemble by hand across research, enrichment, and sequencing tools, or that a RevOps team wired together with brittle automation. ZoomInfo’s own company statement puts the stitching burden at “nine different systems.” Caroline Burnett, a sales operations leader at Silverfort and the launch’s sole named customer, describes the appeal as the ability to “scale RevOps” without the headcount.
Henry Schuck, ZoomInfo’s founder and CEO, framed it in the register the company clearly wants to own: “Revenue doesn’t follow a flowchart. Champions change jobs, deals stall, and buyers come back months later.”
That’s also the strategic bet. ZoomInfo’s GTM.AI layer already plugs into Salesforce’s Agentforce platform, including its named outbound sales agent, and HubSpot’s agentic customer platform. The open question is whether orchestration or underlying data becomes the defensible layer when every CRM ships its own agent runtime. ZoomInfo is wagering that owning the contact graph lets it stay the orchestration surface even as the CRMs ship competing ones.
One customer reference, no benchmarks, no pricing delta. The pitch is distribution, not proof.
