Salesforce Ships Seven Named Agentforce Agents, Adds Long-Horizon Runtime for Multi-Week Sales Work

Casey, Paige, Carter, Marshall, Piper, and Fin are generally available today; Hunter, an outbound sales agent that pursues goals across weeks, enters pilot with GA scheduled for November.

Salesforce today introduced seven named, role-specific Agentforce agents, with six (Casey, Paige, Carter, Marshall, Piper, and Fin) generally available immediately and Hunter, an outbound sales agent built on a new long-horizon runtime, entering pilot with GA scheduled for November 2026. The launch converts what has been a customizable agent-building platform into something closer to a hiring catalog.

That framing is the point. Enterprise buyers have spent eighteen months evaluating agentic systems they had to assemble themselves. Salesforce is now shipping the roles pre-built.

The proof points travel with named customers. Perk says 60% of its sales pipeline is now built by Hunter. Asana’s Piper deployment quadrupled inbound conversation volume in 45 days. Hibbett AI handles 90% of core shopper journeys within six weeks. Engine’s help agent Eva fully resolves 50% of chat inquiries; Autism Queensland’s Paige resolves 70% of administrative requests; Anthropic, running Fin, autonomously resolves 79% of Fin-visible conversations. Agentforce has closed more than 29,000 deals and reached an $800 million ARR run rate earlier this year.

Hunter is the meaningful architectural shift. It’s the first agent on Salesforce’s long-horizon runtime, meaning it can pursue pipeline goals across weeks rather than executing single-turn tasks. Salesforce says more agents will follow, and customers will eventually build long-horizon agents of their own. Fin, meanwhile, is powered by Operator and Fin Apex, the custom customer-experience models Salesforce absorbed via its Fin acquisition.

The market context flatters the announcement. Futurum analyst Keith Kirkpatrick’s data shows 64.9% of enterprise buyers now rank agentic AI among their top three priorities, up from 56.7% in the prior 2H 2025 survey (n=865), while 55.1% (n=830) cite faster time to value as a budget-confidence driver. Sales, marketing, and service are the top projected deployment areas at 51.3%. Salesforce holds 34.1% of a $85.4 billion CRM market in 2025.

Multi-Agent Orchestration is GA now; AI Skills in Agentforce Coworker and Agent Optimizer target October 2026 GA. Salesforce didn’t disclose pricing. The company has delivered 7 billion Agentic Work Units across Agentforce and Slack, 3.2 billion of them in Q2, using a metric it introduced on February 25, 2026, which is worth noting as a metric that vendors, not customers, chose to make legible.
