Meta's Muse Launches in Singapore With Eight Named Connector Partners
The first Asia-Pacific rollout outside Japan arrives with Shopee, Grab, Lazada, Singapore Airlines, Agoda, ShopBack, Klook, and Trip.com integrated — drawing a sharper line between businesses inside the agent and those left to the open web.
Meta launched its personal AI agent Muse in Singapore on October 28, 2026, arriving with eight named connector partners wired in from day one: Shopee, Lazada, Grab, Singapore Airlines, Agoda, ShopBack, Klook, and Trip.com. It’s the fourth market overall, following the U.S. and Canada on September 8 and Japan on October 23, and the first rollout outside North America to debut with a defined transactable partner list rather than a vaguer promise of future integrations.
“Muse is your personal agent, built to help make everyday life easier,” said Nicole Tan, managing director of Meta Singapore. “We are connecting Muse with some of the most iconic brands in Singapore and the region, so you can get things done with the services you already use and love.”
The connector list is the story. Through Grab, Muse can assemble GrabMart grocery baskets and place Grab Dine Out orders, asking follow-up questions and confirming total price and delivery time before seeking user approval. Agoda’s chief product officer Matteo Frigerio described the company as “[Agoda is] the first digital travel platform globally to connect its AI travel assistant seamlessly with Meta’s Muse.” A sample Shopee query surfaces a universal travel adapter under S$25. Subscriptions run S$22 and S$139 monthly. Muse is available on iOS, Android, and muse.ai, with support for Gmail, Google Calendar, Instagram, and planned extension to Meta’s AI glasses.
What this draws, structurally, is the same line Walmart drew when it opened its checkout to AI agents and that Amazon, Yelp, and Delta drew by blocking buyer agents on Shopify. Muse can still scan the open web where no direct integration exists. But being crawled isn’t the same as being transacted. The connector seat is the shelf.
For a Singapore merchant whose products move through Shopee or whose bookings run through Agoda or Klook, discoverability is already handled by the platform. For everyone else, the agent is a wall. Muse’s rapid early adoption in the U.S. suggests that wall is being built faster than most B2C operators have modeled.
Agent distribution, it turns out, looks less like search and more like retail.
