Change Agents to launch Beacon, a $20-a-month AI visibility platform for small businesses
The Nasdaq-listed company said Beacon will go live October 28, auditing how ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, and Claude recommend a small business across roughly 100 common customer queries.
Change Agents Corporation (Nasdaq: CHGA) said Tuesday it’ll commercially launch Beacon on October 28, a $20-a-month subscription platform that audits how ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, and Claude recommend a small business across roughly 100 common customer queries. The pitch is simple and the structural read is harder: the company is betting that AI-mediated discovery has quietly become the acquisition surface small businesses can’t see, and that a freemium audit is the wedge for a new recurring-revenue category.
The product is framed in the GlobeNewswire release as an “Agentic Generative Search Optimization” platform. An agent crawls a business’s online presence, customer reviews, and reputation signals, measures how five leading AI assistants describe and recommend it, and returns actionable fixes. The initial audit is free and designed to run in five minutes or less. After that, owners pay $20 a month, with optional paid implementation services on top. Quiver Quant notes the whole go-to-market hinges on converting free audits into paying subscribers.
“AI is fundamentally changing how consumers discover businesses, yet most small business owners have little visibility into whether their companies are being recommended by AI assistants,” said Michael Mathews, a director of Change Agents Corp. The company puts the addressable market at 5.6 million U.S. small businesses with fewer than 50 employees.
The diagnostic framing matches a benchmark we covered last week finding roughly 8 in 10 small businesses are effectively invisible to AI buyers. Beacon measures that gap. It doesn’t close it. A founder who runs the audit still has to produce the branded content, citations, and distribution signals that make a business recommendable in the first place, which is the output side of the same problem LemonLime prepares proactively for its customers.
The category now has a public-market comp, a price point, and a launch date. What it doesn’t yet have is evidence that owners who learn they’re invisible will do the work, or pay someone else to.
