Braze's Decisioning Studio Go reaches GA today, opening 1:1 campaign decisioning to marketers without a data team

The self-service agent, previewed at Forge, tests more than a billion message, timing, and frequency combinations per recipient and is scheduled for general availability on October 14.

BrazeAI Decisioning Studio Go reaches general availability today, pushing per-recipient AI decisioning out of the enterprise data-science silo and into the hands of marketers who’ve never written a SQL query. The vendor’s pitch, repeated across yesterday’s preview of the GA date and the capability gap it closes and the Forge announcement itself, is that a single agent tests more than a billion combinations of message variant, time of day, day of the week, and frequency per recipient, and that a marketer can deploy one “in minutes.”

The structural story here’s category migration, not model novelty. Decisioning Studio Pro, the enterprise-tier predecessor, already used reinforcement learning to pick the next best action, but deployment, per MarTech, “often requires dedicated data science and engineering capacity.” George Khachatryan, Braze’s VP of AI Decisioning Product, put it more plainly to CX Today: Pro required “a team of data engineers, or at least a data engineer on your side.” That left most campaigns, the ones outside a company’s top handful of revenue journeys, running on static rules and underpowered A/B tests.

Go is the response. Previewed in beta at Forge in Las Vegas in late September, it collapses the deployment bar to a self-service workflow. Khachatryan says beta accounts “doubled campaign performance” and that the agent chewed through “500 creatives in like two minutes.” Both figures are vendor-supplied, from beta customers, and haven’t been independently measured.

The scope at GA is narrower than the top-line framing suggests. MarTech reports the initial release targets email performance and optimizes click-through rates across five variables, variant, subject line, CTA, imagery, and send-time. Full cross-channel orchestration isn’t in the box today. Braze has also not published GA pricing or packaging.

That’s the shape of the trade. The barrier Braze is removing isn’t the math; it’s the headcount. Agentic decisioning is becoming legible to marketing teams that were previously illegible to the technology, which is how enterprise categories actually democratize, long after the capability itself stops being new.
