Archive Launches Archie, a Slack-Based Agent That Vets Creators — Then Closes a Round Led by Anti Fund
Archive's new agent takes a campaign brief in Slack or Teams and returns a pre-vetted creator shortlist with reasoning attached. Days later, the company announced a strategic round led by Jake and Logan Paul's Anti Fund.
On August 31, Archive launched Archie, an agent that takes a campaign brief through a Slack or Microsoft Teams tag and returns a shortlist of creators pre-screened for competitor conflicts, inactive accounts, and fake audiences, each recommendation shipped with its own reasoning. Two days later, the company announced a strategic funding round led by Anti Fund, the vehicle run by Jake and Logan Paul, with Florida Funders co-leading. The sequencing isn’t accidental.
The bottleneck Archive wants to describe is structural, not technological. The company says the influencer economy runs at roughly 50 creators per coordinator, a ratio the company frames bluntly: “you cannot hire 50 influencer managers overnight.” Archive’s systems process tens of millions of short-form videos daily across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Archie is the interface where that ingestion becomes a shortlist a marketer can actually action from inside the tool they already use for standups.
The evidence on offer is early and self-supplied. Paul Benigeri, Archive’s co-founder and CEO, cited “$4.5 million in earned media in two months” from platform clients. Michael Lee, CMO of Ketone-IQ, said his team saved “over 15 hours a week on sourcing.” Archive also says two of the largest AI labs now run their creator marketing on its platform and that it recently closed two seven-figure enterprise contracts.
The cap table reads as a category signal more than a growth signal. The round, size undisclosed, includes angels from OpenAI and Perplexity along with more than 50 founders and executives from Attentive, Hugging Face, Brex, and Ramp. Anti Fund’s involvement is the louder tell: the Pauls run the largest creator-native operating businesses of the last decade, and they’re now backing the software layer that programmatically vets people like themselves.
One caveat still holds, as ContentGrip noted: an agent can narrow a list, but a marketer still has to judge whether a creator’s voice and audience fit the brand. The labor moves up the stack; it doesn’t disappear.
