Hostinger folds Kodee into 'Hostinger Agent,' pushing support AI into marketing, SEO, and outreach
The Vilnius hosting company is rolling a support bot that already fields 1.5 million conversations a month into a single agent that can draft campaigns, plan SEO, and send email through Hostinger Reach — aimed at more than five million small-business customers.
Hostinger on September 3 announced Hostinger Agent, folding its Kodee support assistant into a single agentic layer that also drafts marketing campaigns, plans SEO, produces content and visuals, and sends email through Hostinger Reach. The Vilnius-based host, which claims more than five million users worldwide, is betting that the shortest path from support bot to sales tool is to skip the “install another agent” step entirely.
The context advantage is the pitch. Because the assistant already sits inside the customer’s Hostinger stack, it can see the site or store, the domain, hosting configuration, business email, newsletters, and prior conversations without any setup ritual. Rollout began in mid-August 2026, per Business News This Week, replacing Kodee across customer touchpoints, and the agent is embedded inside AI Builder, the environment Hostinger launched in August that bundles site creation with backend, ecommerce, and marketing tooling. Support and account management stay free; the specialized agentic work sits behind a tiered subscription.
“The AI industry has spent the past two years giving people more assistants, copilots, and agents to choose from. We want customers to stop choosing between them,” said Emilis Strimaitis, Head of Product Innovation at Hostinger. The framing is unusually candid about where consolidation pressure is going: the small-business owner drowning in five subscriptions is a bigger acquisition target than the one who wants a sixth.
The metrics Hostinger disclosed all live inside the support column. The underlying assistant handles roughly 1.5 million conversations a month, about 35 requests per minute, resolving 91% without human intervention. Since the model was introduced at the end of Q2, specialist-guided AI resolution has climbed from 41% to 72%, live-chat share has fallen from 10% to 4.5%, and median resolution time for specialist-guided conversations sits near three minutes against more than 50 minutes for live chat. Human “AI CX Engineers” step into the conversations the model won’t confidently close.
What isn’t in the release is any campaign-performance number: no traffic lift, no open rates, no revenue attribution for the SEO or marketing modules. The deflection story is well-instrumented. The growth story is, for now, a promise attached to a subscription tier.
